OUR STORY

THE HERITAGE OF A PALAZZO
WHERE TIME, BEAUTY AND HOSPITALITY COME TOGETHER
TO EXPRESS THE AUTHENTIC SOUL OF THE AMALFI COAST

The origins of Palazzo Pascal date back to the 11th century, when this historic residence formed part of the complex of the Church of the Annunziata in Minuta, one of the most fascinating examples of medieval architecture on the Amalfi Coast.

It was once the residence of the priests who served the church - a simple stone dwelling overlooking the valley and the sea, where religious and domestic life intertwined in a quiet, understated balance, rich in spirituality.

FROM ECCLESIASTICAL RESIDENCE TO A NOBLE HOME IN THE 18TH CENTURY

During the 18th century, the property was transformed into a noble residence: an elegant home surrounded by terraced gardens, where medicinal and aromatic plants were cultivated.

Here, rural life and refinement coexisted, alongside work and contemplation.

The idea of caring for both body and spirit through Mediterranean nature is a tradition that continues to inspire the gardens, the vegetable garden and the palazzo’s philosophy of wellbeing.

A CONTEMPORARY VISION - FROM PRIVATE HOME TO BOUTIQUE HOTEL

Much later, the residence became a private home.
It was in this context that the vision emerged to transform it into something new, without betraying its soul: not an anonymous hotel, but an elegant home open to guests, where art, design and family hospitality could coexist.

A place where the dolce vita of the Amalfi Coast and the cultural charm of Ravello - long beloved by artists, musicians, writers and composers - could come back to life.

But the vision that brought this residence back to life is the result of two sensibilities coming together: the artistic inspiration of Pascal, creator of the project and of the ceramics that define the palazzo,
and the creative direction of Madalina, who shaped its contemporary identity, interior design and distinctive approach to hospitality.

Following a careful restoration, attentive to every detail and respectful of the building’s historic identity, the residence was transformed into the first five-star albergo diffuso on the Amalfi Coast, with 13 rooms and suites.

The integration of contemporary comfort, Pascal’s artistic ceramics, Mediterranean light and original architectural elements creates an intimate, luminous and elegant atmosphere, where history and design exist in natural harmony.

A shared project, carried forward together with the family and a team who fully embrace its philosophy.

Today, a Timeless Beauty
